it's all a bit quirky since there's just so many icon and links to click on. but you can personally ask people around since everyone here in DA is practically very kind to new folks and will give a lending hand. and by chance i just read this one

look at the uppermost part of your DA page. you'll see the big clickable word "deviantART' which automatically puts you to the main site.*er... don't click that* what were looking for is just below it. an icon saying "submit" with an arrow pointing up. click on that. if it's your first time submitting there's this list of policies and regulations in submiting works. after reading it if your ok with everything just continue. during the process of submiting your artwork goes through a series of categorizatiuon. its easy since there's a brief description of each category when you click on them. and then there's the part where you are asked to describe your arwork and key words. afterwards, they'll be asking you submit the file. you're artwork should be in a computer and you just browse for it. the don't accept URLs from other stock sites. i suggest submitting an artwork 200dpi or below. big artworks are hard to view ^^' it's ok if you don't submit a "preview" you onlyu do that for animations or if you have something explicit to submit. and it's just the matter of waiting for the artwork to upload on you DA site.
